Lecture Synopsis
Based on the most current research, this lecture focuses on how some of the most predominant health concerns of women today are often related to a type of hormone imbalance known as estrogen dominance. Discussion includes how hormone imbalance can play a significant role in breast cancer, menopause, PMS, headaches, hypothyroidism, unexplained weight gain, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, fibrocystic breasts, pelvic disorders (endometriosis, ovarian cysts, etc.), miscarriage and infertility, autoimmune issues, depression, and more. Other major themes involve cautions of prescribed synthetic hormones like birth control pills and HRT, as well as the documented benefits of more natural methods of healing and restoring hormone balance, including diet and other lifestyle modifications.

Kristine Klitzke is a 1990 graduate of the University of Oshkosh School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN). She has been employed as a registered nurse for Thedacare Hospitals in Northeastern Wisconsin for 18 years and has been consulting for Arbonne since 2000. Kristine’s clinical experience includes specialty areas like cardiac, medical/surgical, operating room, and peri-operative education. Having a special interest in women’s health issues as they relate to hormones, Kristine has done extensive research and writing in this area. Most recently, she has authored the book, “Hormone Balance: A Matter of Life & Health” and the booklet, “The Top 10 Truths of Hormone Balance.” She formed “Health & Hormone Support, LLC” and lectures on the subject of female health and hormone balance in a variety of settings including colleges, hospitals, medical clinics, chiropractic offices, fitness clubs, corporate offices, YMCAs, churches, as well as for a number of professional and civic organizations. Kristine’s passion is to share the principles she has learned over the years in order that females of all ages and stages might be able to fulfill their life’s roles to the fullest! She resides in Appleton, WI with her husband and two daughters.

Peggy Hamill
Born in Milwaukee, Peggy Hamill is the second oldest of eleven children. She and her husband Bob are the parents of eleven children (ten living, one lost through miscarriage).
Peggy began her pro-life work in the early '70s as a volunteer with Wisconsin Citizens Concerned for Life. Over the years, she has gone on to volunteer with Wisconsin Right to Life, Citizens for a Pro-Life Society, Missionaries to the Preborn, held baby showers for Pregnancy Help Center of Milwaukee, and worked independently as a regular sidewalk counselor at Milwaukee's surgical abortion centers.
Peggy has served in leadership with Pro-Life Wisconsin since 1994 as an affiliate leader, a board member, and President of the PLW Board of Directors. Since 1999, Peggy has served as state director of Pro-Life Wisconsin, a Christian legislative and educational organization that represents approximately 30,000 families throughout the state.
In the past few years, much of Peggy's work at Pro-Life Wisconsin has involved working to combat the contraceptive mentality and educating about the deadly link between contraception and abortion. Peggy also speaks out in defense of vulnerable people with disabilities and those faced with debilitating illnesses.
