The way that Christian organizations seek to use social media is different than how the major corporations use it. The major corporations are trying to buff up their brand name. Non-profits are looking to build networks of like-minded individuals and then keep them in touch with the activities of the non-profit, or alert people to breaking news related their issue. Since ACM is keenly aware of this difference, it is able to help smaller organizations in a way that other social media management services cannot.
Such organizations usually have a small staff (perhaps only one person) who are not really interested in learning the nuances of social media, because they want to work on the issues they formed their organizations in the first place. And yet, they know that they need to have a presence on social media.
