I am going to refer to the churches in Revelation chapters two and three in a different order by starting with the most severe shifting of faith to the least. For it is our shifting faith which is causing the greatest damage to the furtherance of the gospel of repentance and forgiveness that sets one free from the bondage to sin, as Jesus commands us in Luke 24:37: Being the only answer to our deteriorating nation, communities, and families. In Revelation 2:4-7, Jesus speaks of the church in Ephesus; “Thou hast left thy first love (26-‘agape’ perfect love as Paul spoke highly of their perfect love to all saints in Ephesians 1:15). Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works,” the works of perfect love. “Or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place… He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto (all) the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.”
