No matter where I go, and who I talk with, the subject of an identity crisis always arises in the course of the conversation, whether directly or indirectly.
I used to think it was perhaps because I was more sensitive to the topic, but now it is plainly obvious to me that the identity crisis that we face in this nation is, in fact, a battle for our identity that plays out in the natural realm but is rooted in spiritual warfare, the design of man, the fall of Adam and Eve, and certainly in the restoration and redemption of mankind through work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
I would argue that the most important thing you can determine and resolve as a Christian is who you are in Christ. Every aspect of our lives, and our faith is rooted and grounded in our position in Christ as a son or daughter of God in Christ Jesus.
