“If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.” (Colossians 3:1-2 NKJV).
I challenge you to read the book of Colossians in its entirety every day for the next month. The book of Colossians is four chapters long, and you can easily read it in just a few minutes. I am going to take the challenge with you. I just went through and read it before I wrote this article, and though it is just four short chapters, there is so much deep and profound theology in it, you could spend a lifetime unpacking it.
My uncle Jim has a saying, “Paper doesn’t refuse ink.” Now, I recognize the humor and irony of me putting that in a printed article. The point of the saying is that just because someone writes something, or says something, it does not make it true. I mention this because I am seeing so much misinformation in the world today.
