Delaying Estate Planning Is Accepting Lies As Truth

   “Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you. For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, ‘There is peace and security,’ then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.” (1 Thessalonians 5:1-3).

   “Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.”  (Romans 13:11).

   “Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.” (Ephesians 5:15-17).

    The reality of the impending return of Christ is one that most Christians accept as theological truth.  One of the primary struggles of Christian life, however, is to make decisions with our time, abilities, relationships and finances that reflect this truth.
