
As we approach the upcoming November 5th elections it’s worth noting that over the past several decades and especially the past few years, Democrats have become, well, . . . different. This means that they are “ . . . totally unlike in nature, from or quality, and . . . dissimilar” as Webster notes. This would be as versus ordinary, normal (natural), or customary. Peculiar is a good synonym to describe today’s Democratic party, now the peoples’ party of Clinton, Obama, Biden/Harris/and Walz. For example:
It’s the economy, stupid
The current Democrat candidate for the presidency has spent the last four years in office in Washington DC and is now found to be criticizing herself when it comes to the sad state of our economy. But she NOW knows with four years in office (after the fact of course) what needs to be done in order to fix it. She could even be considered bipartisan given that a couple of her current “new” ideas have actually come from her opponent’s platform. Not that mimicking someone with successful business experience is ever a bad idea mind you, but nonetheless quite a different practice especially when it comes to political campaigns.
