November/December 2024In the final stretch of the 2024 presidential race, Randall Terry’s nationwide – yes, nationwide – television ads garnered quite the reaction from the leftist media machine and the cackling hens on shows like The View, where his ads appeared. His ads also appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and “ABC News Tonight with David Muir.”
I have heard Leftists say, when talking about social spending, that a society is judged by how it treats the “least among us.” For once, they are right. In fact, our society is under judgment – divine judgment – for how it has treated the least among us, unborn babies. In states where abortion is legal, these helpless innocents are at the mercy of the women carrying them but who are seeking abortions.
To the surprise of no one in Constitution Party, Randall’s ads showing mutilated, dead babies upset the Left. Not how many abortions there have been since Roe in 1973, not that women can get abortions for any or no reason in many places, not because babies are being denied a chance – just a chance – at life outside the womb. No, none of that. Leftists were upset at the grizzly sight of aborted baby body parts being displayed. If they could, pro-aborts would prosecute anyone who showed those pictures. Here is how the Godless mainstream media covered Randall’s ads –
•. The Washington Post – “Why are ABC viewers being forced to see a graphic anti-abortion ad?” Forced? Who forces them to watch? Leftists always say to us, “If you do not like art you call obscene or LGBT events like drag queen story times, alt-right extremist, don’t go see it.” Same at you, Leftists, but ignoring or concealing the pictures does not mean the horror is not happening. Truth is a stubborn, often unpleasant, thing.
• Yahoo! News (Yahoo still exists?) – “The presidential candidate forcing ‘The View’ to air his ultra-grisly ads.” There is that word again. Whenever we, on the right, say or show things Leftists do not want to see or hear, they say we are fascists, theocratic autocrats “imposing our will” on them.
• msn.com “What to know about graphic anti-abortion ad airing on ABC & 13 ON YOUR SIDE.” In this article, because the networks could not stop Randall’s ad, they decided to run disclaimers instead before and after the ad, saying that it “contains scenes that may be disturbing to children” and that they were required to run it.
So, to be clear, Leftists like Harris, Clinton, Schumer, Pelosi, and The View cast have no qualms about legalized abortion on demand and the actual act of ending babies’ lives, but children just seeing unborn babies bloodied, brutalized dead bodies, “oh, no, we must protect the children from that.” It might upset them (aka – the children might start asking their parents uncomfortable questions like, “Mommy, what is that?” or “Daddy, is that an unborn baby? Why does its body look like that?”) and children will turn against abortion.
Have you noticed that after the fall of Roe, Democrats and their Leftist allies are now the biggest defenders of the 10th Amendment? Before the Roe ruling, anyone on the right who talked about states’ rights and state sovereignty were told by Leftists that those phrases were “dog whistles” by white supremacists to rally their fellow racists and keep the federal government from protecting people of color and their voting rights. Now, these same Democrat Party leaders and their surrogates say that the federal government should butt out and reproductive “rights” should be left up to the states. Pro-aborts only say that because they lost national control over abortion on demand when Roe fell before the Supreme Court. Democrats like Harris support the 10th Amendment now, when it is useful to them, but should they ever succeed in codifying Roe into national law, Democrats’ new found support for states’ rights will blow away like dandelion seeds in the wind.
And the ridiculous argument the left always uses about how the decision should be between “the woman and her doctor” and “it’s a woman’s body” and “men want to control women’s bodies.” Three points –
1) As you know, once a woman becomes pregnant, it is not just “her” body any more. Now there are two. There is a separate being growing inside her with its own unique DNA, organs, and circulatory system. The baby’s location before birth should never be a deciding factor on whether the baby gets to be born or not.
2) It takes two to make a baby. Pro-abortion defenders act as though since the unborn baby is physically inside a woman’s body, she gets total say as to what happens to the child. It comes down to this: either an unborn baby is a person or he/she is property. If the baby is property, he/she has a co-owner, the biological father.
3) The federal government should stay out of it? From mask and vaccine mandates, to setting aside people’s property telling them they cannot use it under penalty of law (wetlands laws, endangered species acts), to compulsory public education, to Obamacare, to allowing biological men in biological women’s changing rooms and sporting events, Leftists never had a problem with politicians and unelected bureaucrats imposing government mandates on you and me.
The unfortunate side effect of Roe v. Wade being struck down is it has given the GOP an “out,” at least in their minds. Now they can say, as Donald Trump and J.D. Vance have said, “It’s in the hands of the states now.” Many elected Republicans believe pro-life, abolishing abortion, is a “loser” issue for their candidates. Our party does not!
Conservative pro-lifers (and conservative opponents to same-sex “marriage”), is it not clear to you that the GOP has abandoned you? They altered their own national platform to water down their pro-life plank at their national convention and they did not allow any amendments to be offered. Fellow Constitutionalists, what more do you need to know? Our party is 100% pro-life from fertilization to natural death. Pro-Life is our Fundamental Tenet 1#! That is how important this issue – these precious little ones made in God’s image – are to our party leaders, members, and our candidates.
