For a Christian student, it can be very intimidating sitting in the classroom of a teacher or professor who makes comments such as this. If they were to raise their hands and state that they don’t necessarily buy into the idea of evolution, they would be instantly branding themselves as someone who is insane and knows nothing about science or the real world.
In reality, there are many great, well thought-out, scientifically sound responses to the alleged evidences for evolution. Unfortunately, most Christians are unaware of what these responses are. They are also often intimated by science and generally wish to avoid any confrontations with those who are fairly well-versed in any scientific discipline.
